Review Notes Agent
Reviews workpapers the way your firm does and drafts review comments for the manager to keep, edit or discard.
The challenge
Managers spend review time on points that should never have reached them: a missing cross-reference, a conclusion that does not follow from the work, a tick mark with no legend. The judgement calls get what attention is left.
What the agent does
- Reads the workpaper against the firm’s methodology and the audit plan for that area.
- Checks the mechanics: references, sign-offs, sample sizes against the plan, conclusions consistent with results.
- Looks for risks and anomalies a reviewer would question, such as an unexplained movement or a procedure that does not address the stated risk.
- Drafts review comments in the firm’s style, each pointing to the cell or paragraph it concerns.
Your people stay in control
Comments are suggestions to the reviewer and are labelled as such. Only a reviewer can raise, clear or sign off a point.
Works with

- Firm methodology and guidance
- Inspection findings
How we measure success
- Suggested comments accepted by reviewers

Kind of work
Research and review. The agent reads large volumes of documents and answers questions, showing the source for every point.
